Chipper Korbacher
earned Third Team All-American honors for the first time in his career. The relief pitcher was named MSC First Team All-Conference, MSC Academic All-Conference, and Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. The graduate student etched his name in the Patriot record books: Single-Season Saves (12) and Career Appearances (68). Korbacher will continue his career pitching for the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League, an official Partner League of Major League Baseball.
The Palomar College alumnus ('20-'21) and Oceanside, California native finished the season with a 3.33 ERA and leads the team with the lowest WHIP of 0.86. Across 24.1 innings and 22 appearances, Korbacher threw 33 strikeouts and tallied 12 earned 12 saves, with a batting average against of .146.
