Riverside CC Moves to #2 in CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings Week #2
Week #2 is in the books as West Valley maintains the top spot in the second edition of the CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings (Jan. 26-Feb. 1).
The Vikings are one of 11 teams that remain undefeated in the young '26 season.
Riverside City leads the state in wins with six and jet up four spots for the #2 spot and tops for now in SoCal. Fresno City remains #3 while Palomar climbs five slots to #4. Ohlone also takes the elevator ride up five flights to #5.
Cypress drops to #6, Glendale moves up to #7, Santa Ana ascends six spaces to #8, Sierra slips to #9, and San Mateo leaps into the top 10 at #10.
The biggest jump was made by Folsom Lake, driving up 16 spots to #14.
Eight new teams join the Home Run 30 in #16 Reedley, #18 Allan Hancock, #20 Southwestern, #21 Cabrillo, #25 San Joaquin Delta, #27 Modesto, #28 Bakersfield, and #30 Taft.
For now, defending state champion Mt. San Antonio fell out of the rankings along with Cerritos as the South Coast has had a rough beginning for the conference in early pre-conference play as a whole.
The Home Run 30 is now an even split between the regions, both with 15 teams.
Expect ups and downs for a number of teams as the season evolves.
