Number 5 Palomar Steady In CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings #8
Palomar College comes in at #5 as a South Region heavy in the CCCBCA Home Run 30 Rankings (March 9-15).
The Comets are 8-0 to tie #16 Grossmont at the top of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference standings and also have won eight straight overall.
No changes in the top with Fresno City at #1, #2 Santa Ana, #3 Ohlone, #4 El Camino, and Palomar. Riverside City continues its steady climb, up four spaces to #6, followed by #7 San Joaquin Delta, #8 Santa Rosa, #9 Skyline, and piping hot Feather River in the midst of a 15-game win streak, sending it upward to #10.
Newcomers to the ratings are #23 College of Marin, #25 Hartnell and #30 Cerritos, giving the South Coast its first week with two teams among the rankings.
It's now an even split of 15 each region in this week's Home Run 30.
